[00:00::22] Gillian: Okay, well, today will give an overview of the range of websites services that you can expect from a full-service web agency. [00:00:48] Saul: Okay, those today's topics? What are we going to dive into Gill?
[00:00:51] Gillian: Okay, well, if you're looking to build a new website, or refresh your existing one, you may be considering whether or not work with a full-service web agency. Today, we'll focus on the topic of websites, services, and in particular, have a look at full-service web agencies and hopefully, we can help out with some common, some answers to some common questions here so just what is a full-service web agency? What range of services can you expect? What are the benefits of working with a full-service agency? So let's get started. We've got plenty to cover here.
[00:01:26] Saul: Okay. So I think we'll start with what a full-service web agency is. So in short, will sort of say that two of the primary things that a full-service agency would cover website design and website development, they would also possibly also do web marketing, they would handle search engine optimization,
[00:01:48] Gillian: Basic things like logo and branding.
[00:01:50] Saul: Well, they are a full-service agency would, but not necessarily, I guess what some people would consider to be as full-service web agency, but some would, too. But in our mind, a full-service web agency would offer a broad range of services relating to websites.
[00:02:10] Gillian: Okay, so what can you tell us about the range of services that you can expect from full-service web agency?
[00:02:16] Saul: Okay, so like we just mentioned, they would be handling website design, and development in house. So that would also then extend to when they're doing the website, they may also be thinking about how to optimize it, at the same time, for any upcoming campaigns that there might be doing search engine for organic search engine optimization, that might also be relating to AdWords, and to other and possibly also, any other social media campaigns as well.
[00:02:55] Gillian: So it takes your website right from the start from the basic sketches and design, right through potentially to launch and marketing and optimization of your site the whole package?
[00:03:07] Saul: Yeah, that's right, exactly.
[00:03:08] Gillian: One (talk show) Okay, so what in your mind are the main benefits of working with a full-service web design agency?
[00:03:14] Saul: Okay, so one of the main benefits, I would say, is that, around the client is that the client wants to have a great experience and we want to everybody Yeah, generally wants to make that a smooth, pleasant experience, and one where there's good communication so that comes down to if you potentially have a number of different entities that do different things, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be a bad experience, but the likelihood of working with one place that handles everything increases now on anyway, the likelihood of people having a better experience, and everything being done in a month more cohesive and more optimal way
[00:04:04] Gillian: Kind of fits of the holistic approach.
[00:04:06] Saul: Yeah, that's right. A holistic approach, like holistic health, like the health of your website, is going to be better served by having it done in a more optimized way within one agency.
[00:04:20] Gillian: I think we like to deliver a brand centric approach as well.
[00:04:25] Saul: Yeah, that's true. So that's where having a full-service agency that we are around house has the added benefit, as well as being able to address those core things around your brand. Even before you start this process with your website, that you can look at what that is going to look like and address all those issues and your logo and branding everything else in advance. So you've even got a more cohesive overall holistic approach.
[00:04:59] Gillian: It's also about that long-term customer relationship and long-term management for the success of your business as it grows throughout the years, isn't it?
[00:05:06] Saul: Yeah, that's right, because you want to be everybody likes to work with people that they trust, and that's going to be even more so if you've got someone you can rely on to help as your business changes. And as that then also grows, then that's also reflected in what you do within your website, and your brand, and everything else and got someone to help with all that.
[00:05:35] Gillian: Okay, so what are some tips for finding a reliable web agency that you can partner with for the long term?
[00:05:41] Saul: Okay, so I think like we've said before, finding somebody, initially, one of the top best ways to do that is to initially look with people that you already know, who may have had an experience and even if that experience is not with a full service agency, they might give you valuable information about things that they would have liked, and that might be that they didn't have a good understanding of it. So sometimes, it's the things that, that they didn't get them, what lead you to making a decision that you want to work with a team of people that does everything in house, because of those things, and really just seeing the quality of their work, talking with them, actually speaking with the responsible people on the phone, and then in person, and just understanding how the business works, and whether that is a good fit for you.
[00:06:47] Gillian: Okay, and finally, what are some elements to consider when you're choosing a web agency?
[00:06:53] Saul: Some of the elements that you would, what was the question again?
[00:06:57] Gillian: What are the things to consider when you are choosing which agency to work with?
[00:07:02] Saul: Yeah. Things some of that is going to be down to what you want from your project. So if you've got so an example might be that if you feel that you would be best service by a larger team of people, for some reason, they're going to be certain expectations that some clients will have, either because of what they've experienced before, or because of the size of the project might require that. So finding out what, who's, the responsible people are in the agency, who you're going to be dealing with most of the time. It doesn't, it's not necessarily a requirement. But it's a great thing. If people get on well together, if you're on the same page, if you can get a sense as well, that people are going to communicate well, with you. I think, despite a lot of other things. I think that that's one of the key things that if you can establish that early on, that's really good.
[00:08:14] Gillian: Okay, well, we'll put together a list of the key questions, that is a good idea to ask the web agency and when you considering starting a project with them so this would begin with asking them, what specific services does it agency offer? What online marketing channels that in their opinion, deliver the highest ROI, return investment? If they are able to help you with online, online marketing, as well as offline marketing, because don't forget your offline marketing as well and it's important that you understand their pricing models, and also get to know who will be your main point of contact and a really important question to ask is, can they provide customer references and testimonials?
[00:09:03] Saul: Yeah, and sometimes those are going to be on their website anyway or you'll be able to find them on Google, and invariably, people will do their own research, too, but all those points are really good. Is there anything else you'd like to add Joe?
[00:09:15] Gillian: No, but good luck with finding a good web agency for your next project.
[00:09:20] Saul: Yeah, exactly. And just before we finish, one of the things that Joel mentioned there about helping with offline as well as online marketing and social media, is often these days completely overlooked, because people think, well, what value does that have any more, but the reality is that it still plays some part, depending on what it is you're wanting to sell, or tell people about. If you do have a good integration or someone offers those services as well, and it's relevant to what you're doing there. That's an extra bonus, too.
[00:10:03] Saul: Thanks so much for listening again. That's it for today, guys, before we go, please don't forget to write review and subscribe to this podcast. Would love to hear your feedback.
